Every kid loves to ride the roller coaster, no matter how scary it is. The feeling of the wind in your hair, the speed and the curves make it all together a thrilling experience for everybody.
Every country has at least one good amusement park with all kinds of stuff. Roller coaster has always been the number one favorite of the kids, and I can safely say for the adults as well.
The game Coaster Race took that excitement and thrill and combined it with car games experience.
The players need to beat their rivals while speed down the roller coaster tracks and trying to come on first place, AND keep all the kids in the coaster.
Because of the speed and the sharp curves sometimes a kid can be thrown out of the coaster and you lose points over it.
To add a nice touch to the game, the publisher designed and released the game in 3D mode, which gave the game a whole new different perspective.
Especially since the background is an amusement park, the 3D effect is very unique and observed, the view is very special and the tracks are very realistic, especially when you use the Nitro feature which causes the car to speed like a ray of light. Really awesome feature, one of my personal features in car racing games.
We saw this Nitro feature in many other racing games but not in 3D mode. This one has a Hugh effect on the game experience.
In the last 5-6 years the 3D games have become a Hugh trend in the online games arena.
Many publishers were looking for something that will distinguish them from the other hundreds of publishers and thousands of games and they wanted to create something different and unique, something that will make the gaming experience in online games unforgettable.
To my opinion, car games are one of the best genres for 3D game programming. From programming point of view it s easier to develop 3d objects for car racing then for other objects in other genres. From a gamer point of view, the experience of 3D racing especially in Multiplayer is SO COOL, you get a maximum pleasure in playing the game. The Coaster Race game is a perfect example for such enjoyment.
Today we can find plenty of games in 3D mode. In the motor games we can find 3D Buggy Racing, 3d Motorbike Race, Power Driving and more. We have 3D Horse Riding, 3D Tetris game, 3D Shooter, Trench, 3D Mario games and many more.
