You’ll find so many things that go into planning a wedding that sometimes the small things are forgotten, but these things are not small by any indicates!
But then, planning is half the enjoyment where weddings are concerned. Based on our experience as Glasgow’s leading Wedding Car Hire organization, we have put several things together.
1. Alcohol. Are you buying you own liquor for your wedding reception? If so, who is going to be given the task of gathering the unopened, leftover bottles, taking them where they have to go and obtaining them to you? Do not assume that Mom, Dad or your Maid/Matron of Honor of even your best man will take care of this for you. Don t assume that you will want stay and just wait until it’s all packed up so you’ll be able to take it with you that night.
And should you leave alcohol lying about, it could end up in wrong hands and you’d get the blame.
2. Final Payments and Gratuities. Some of your vendors will expect final payment on the wedding day. You might also need to give some vendors a gratuity for a job well carried out. Who will take care of this task for you? I don t give final payments or gratuities until the end of the night once everything is clean, packed up and I know that my clients will receive any feasible deposits back. Do you would like to stay until 1:00am to make sure all of this is taken care of? Should you do not have a planner, ensure that you assign this task to an individual. Ensure that your vendors know who your go-to person is.
While at Glasgow Chauffeur, we locate satisfied clients paying us anything between 50 to 100 for making their unique day memorable.
3. Who will take gifts? Inevitably, you’ll find some guests that bring you a gift or card to the wedding. What will occur to those gifts and cards at the end of the reception? Do you and your groom wish to be going back and forth packing your car rather than enjoying you friends and family?
At Glasgow Chauffeur we are much more than happy to aid you take those unique gifts back to your location after the ceremony.
4. Return of Rental Items. The arch you were married under was decorated so lovely, but how is it going to get back to the rental organization? Most rentals will likely be due back on Sunday or Monday. If you are leaving for your honeymoon, who will take it back? You do not desire to add to your wedding spending budget with late fees.
At times, the most effective thing to do would be to assign the responsibility to one person, maybe the maid of honour or the best man.
5. Your centerpieces. They were fabulous, huge bouquets of your favorite flower. Now what are you going to do with them? In the event you purchased the vases, who will pack them up? Most importantly, what will you do with them? Will you let family each take one? Will you donate them to a nursing house, church, or hospital?
6. Leftover food. Does the caterer know what to do with any leftover food or cake that you may have? Some caterers take the food to a shelter, other people simply toss it. Would you like to have it boxed up for out of town guests that are staying a bit longer? Do not forget about the top layer of your cake!
We have seen families taking away and saving the top layer and decorations off their wedding cake as a momento. And thanks to all that brandy, most wedding cakes maintain for a long time.
The night of your wedding you will be so glad that you do not need to stop enjoying your guests and run around seeking somebody to take care of these things for you.
